The Stiern Family: Better Late Then Never...Welcome To 2012!

Well...we are still alive and kicking! ;) I can't believe how looooong it has been since we have posted on the blog! :/ I have only one thing to say as to why it has been so looooong since the last post...SOCCER! Although that has been the source of most of our busyness...being an very active family of 5 this past year, has not left much time for blogging! ;) So, needless to say, as I was trying to get this post organized... a lot has happen since summer! Here are just a few highlights of what The Stiern Family has been up to!

* Birthday's In The Stiern House

And for Tod's B-Day the kids and I decided to try something fun and different!

* Mati's First Dance Class

She is such a "girlie girl"...she LOVE-LOVE-LOVES playing ballerina and dress-up!

* New Members To Our Family

The chickens are all grown up and laying eggs like crazy! Here are a few of the ladies (we have 11 laying hens) and the wonderful goodies they give us.

The kids have a little business going, selling eggs to help pay for the chicken fed. Fresh eggs are soooo yummy! You truly can taste the difference from store bought.

Our very first egg ever laid on the Stiern Farm was twins! :D It was super neat to have that surprise when we cracked it open!

With the lose of our "Katie Bug", poor Hank was very-very sad and lonely. Soooo Santa felt bad for him and wanted to bring him a few new buddies! Meet Tucker, Anthony's new dog...

And Josie...aka- "Jo-Jo" as Mati likes to call her...after her favorite cookie from Trader Joes ;D, Mati's new dog...

*We Had Time For A Few Trips

With so much traveling for Ant's soccer tournaments, we were able to extend our trips and add on a few mini family vacations at a few fun places traveled to for tournaments. When we traveled to Santa Cruz mid season, we went a few days early and stayed at one of our favorite places, Marina! We just love The Sanctuary (where we always stay)!

Our golf cart, that we get to use all over the resort. The kids think it is super cool that we turn in our car and get to drive our own cart all over the little pathways, including to the restaurant on the property!

You can't go to Santa Cruz without going to the Boardwalk! After the first day of the tournament was over, the whole team and their families went over to have some fun together!

*EDH F.D. Goes To Firefighter Appreciation Day- Giants Baseball Game

So much fun...a bunch of families from my fire dept. all went down for a Giants game on firefighter appreciation day. We all rented a big bus...which was a great time for all (the kids liked the raffle games on the way down there) and then when we got there we all sat together...which was even more fun! The kids had a blast...we did too!

*Anthony's Soccer

What a year...is all we can say! After an awesome season...the boys ended up finishing the season off winning District Cup and Association Cup. Soooo many pic's...here are just a few!
