I must apologize first! It has been
SOOOO long since I have posted updates on the family blog...so this is going to be a
BIG update! If any of you have been following the
CSP Blog...you know that I have been very busy the past few months for Fall/Winter! After this post you all should be pretty much caught up! ;)' So here we go...
*
DAVE...Here We Come!*
The "
Wilton Gang" went to another
AWESOME concert! We had alot of
FUN!

This year we did something we haven't done before! We brought BBQ food and set up tables and played games!
EAT, DRINK AND BE MERRY! As Dave says himself! :D Wendy and I were the "DD's" so when we missed or lost a game the boys were good sports and drank for us...it didn't take much to twist their arms to do that.

These boys (who we didn't know) decided to join in the fun and challenge Tod and Matt (the champs) at a game! After a very intense and close game...Tod and Matt ended up beating them! Holding onto the winners title.

Good times, with great friends!

And "The Man" himself...

Matt wasn't doing so good by the end of the night!

Another
GREAT concert!!!
*The Stiern Family Garden 2010*The garden is pretty much done now, but I thought I would share a few pic's from over the last few months! We grew lots this year and even added a few new things, like blueberries...
yummy-yummy!

We had a few new
FRIENDS in the garden this year, to add to our
FRIENDS that visit us every year! (To see our
FRIENDS that visit every year
"CLICK HERE") We also had a
FOE, but Tod took care of him! He was just one of
SOOOO many voles, that nearly destroyed our garden this year!

We made our first compost bin this year, out of straw bales! Composting has been interesting...the hardest part for us is getting the rotting food out to the bin, from the house. We haven't quite got a good system down! :/ I would
LOVE to hear any helpful hints from you "
composters" out there...about composting!

The tunnel did better this year...
NO aphids and was a
BIG hit with the kiddos as usual!

We learn more each year and are looking forward to planting in the Spring!
*The Kids First Riding Lesson*At the beginning of Fall my old retired show horse "Punkin", who is living the rest of her live out in a pasture on our property (some of you know, but others don't...I grew up riding and showing Quarter horses) went out to my old trainers barn to be "tuned-up" for a month, because my mom has begun riding her again! We all went out to the barn one day to visit Punkin and my old trainer gave the kids their first riding lesson on one of her lesson horses! They
LOVED riding and it was very cool to see that! We hope to get into the horse thing in a few years, when they are a bit older and things are more settled and set up for it at our place! The boys are naturals...it must come from their mama!
hehehe ;)' Little "
Miss Mati" has
NO fear, when it comes to riding and insisted on riding all by herself!
LOL :)

Gabe and I riding together!

Grammy on Punkin having a lesson!
*Matisyn's First Haircut*She was so super excited to have her first haircut! Brenda has been cutting my moms hair since I was 9 and has been doing my hair since I was a teenager. I remember going with my mom and watching her have her hair done...it is so neat that Mati now gets to have her hair done by Brenda too! We just
LOVE Brenda! Mati still talks about her and how she washed her hair and cut it and made it "
pretty"! :) She was such a big girl and just loved every minute!

*Christmas 2010*The kids were so excited again this year for Christmas...of course! :) It was neat because Mati is now old enough to know what is going on! I didn't take a whole lot of pic's this year...but here are a few!
Gabe was super excited that he got his very own DSi...

Ant was thrilled that he got his first electric guitar...

and Mati got her very first Barbie and tons of baby doll things...which she
LOVES!

These two are "
Two Peas In A Pod" and just love hanging out together!

Well, I think that you all are caught up! Sorry for the
LOOOONG post! :/ We hope that you all had a wonder holiday season and we hope you will continue to follow "
The Stiern Family Blog" into the New Year! We have some exciting things coming up...we won't tell you yet...you'll have to check back in to see! :)'
