*Our New Addition To The Family*
A 1957 Chevy Belair! We were not expecting a phone call ever, for this once in a lifetime opportunity. A really good friend of the family had this car passed down to him from his father, after his father passed away. Now what is totally cool, is not only just the car all by itself, but that his father had bought it brand new in "57" and so it has been in his family it's whole life. Tod always told our friend, over the years, that if he ever were to sell it, that he better call us first! ;)' Thinking this was never going to happen...when we got the phone call that he had decided to sell it, Tod was shocked! Tod has been trying to get this car FOREVER and with no luck! Tod and the kids are all soooo thrilled and I must say I am too! It will be a fun project restoring it many years down the road...but for now, it is in awesome condition and runs great, so it is nice that we can actually enjoy it, instead of it sitting in the shop collecting dust! We all think it is the coolest thing EVER!

Mati just LOVES when Tod reves up the engine!
*Our Big Science Fair Winner*
We are so proud of Anthony...he got Second Place at his first Science Fair! Oh my...this was a lot of work! Holy-Moly...it took FOREVER...about 6 hours just putting the darn thing together on the board! But it was a fun thing to do. His experiment was "Do Plants Need Sunlight To Live?" We kept one plant in the natural light, one plant in the laundry room - with just artificial light and the last plant in total darkness in the back of the closet! He found that the plants in the lights did better over all in growth and color!

*Easter Egg Hunt At The Firehouse*
Just a few pic's of the kids finding their eggs! It was absolutely ugly on Easter here...so no pretty Spring pic's of them with their eggs outside! :/ It poured all day and so thank goodness the station has lots of hiding places inside...although the kids didn't care about hunting inside or outside, as long as they got goodies! It was nice...we had our families come up and share dinner with us! I felt so bad for Tod, the kids and my mom...having to travel in the bad weather, but was so glad and grateful to be able to spend the afternoon and evening with them!

*Gabriel's 5th Birthday*
He is now "5" years old...we can't believe it! We had a party for him with "The Wilton Gang" - friends and family. It was so nice to hangout all afternoon in the sunshine and let the kids play and ride! I was totally bummed though, the next day is when we all started getting sick and we are still trying to get it out of our house! I have been waiting to take Gabe's b-day pic's, because the poor kid has had "pink eye" and has not felt the greatest with this bad cold. The pic's will be coming soon...so check back in on the family blog and the CSP blog too! :)

Gabriel and Anthony got to ride, not only their dirt bikes all day, but Tod's dad brought up his four-wheelers and the boys also got to ride those too. They had a blast on them...thanks Papa for the fun!
*Gabriel Starts Pre-K*
With big alligator tears streaming down his face Gabriel had his first day at Dillard Elementary in the Pre-K class. This is were Anthony goes and it is a pretty cool thing they do. In the Spring, the year prior to them starting Kindergarten, they have them all come one day a week for a few hours and do all kinds of cool - fun things to get to know each other and the teachers for the Fall. Now Gabriel has been at the same Montessori preschool that Anthony went to for over a year now and LOVES it! I couldn't believe that he was so upset and didn't want me to leave him. He has been soooo excited to go to the same school as big brother Anthony, that he had been asking us at least once...if not twice a day about a month prior to starting, "Now when do I get to start?" "When do I get to go to Kindergarten?" Yup...I was the parent with the crying kid, that couldn't peel them off of the leg! ;)' So he finally sat in circle with tissue in hand and agreed that he would stay and play with his new friends. By the time I came back to pick him up...he was all smiles! This last week was a piece of cake...no tears!

So I think you all are caught up! We can't wait for this crazy weather to calm down...sunny, then rain, then sunny again...what the heck! Although we have to remember..."April showers, bring May flowers"! :) During one of the bad rain storms I took some pic's of Mati playing outside...check them out on my CSP blog! Just "click" HERE or "click" on my CSP botton logo in the left hand margin of our family blog under "My Photography" to see them. We have some fun and exciting things happening and coming up around "The Stiern House" so check back in...we love sharing just a small glimpse of what goes on in our CRAZY household with you all...are friends and family! :)'
